| Hi there, Just making myself comfortable and settling in nicely to HUBL, and thought I would take a moment to promote my PA system that's on offer for hire with me, Daniel, the engineer. It's a 14KW Peavey Versarray system, 10K of bass and 4K of mid/high. I've many years of experience of working with bands all over the north-east although in fairness its been more of a hobby than a trade, but I'm hoping that can change in the near future as I'm really into the local music scene. The PA isn't for dry hire (as in... you pick it up when you need it, and drop it off when you're finished with it). I've worked with countless bands in various venues including Elgin Town Hall, Thainstone Mart Inverurie, Fishermans Hall Buckie, Macduff Town Hall, Lossiemouth Town Hall, not to mention various outdoor gigs and marquees. Ideally the PA would require a 63 amp single phase supply, preferabbly a 63 amp three phase supply although it can scrape by on a single 32 (only just!!). The lighting system is made up of a digital DMX PC operating a number of LED par cans, moving heads, strobes... along with a number of drapes will have the stage looking very impressive indeed. On stage the foldback monitors consist of Wharfedale subs, Wharfedale floor monitors, and Wharfedale full range monitors pole mounted for the kit. I'm based in Macduff in Aberdeenshire although I'm willing to travel as far as you need me to for the right price. Any quotes you get from the more established sound and light companies in the north-east I can easily undercut by quite a margin being only a two-man operation. | Hi everyone, I just thought I'd say a BIG hello to the HUBL crew, this place has surely evolved since the last time I was here. To be fair my main purpose in checking out the site was some shameless self promotion of my 14K PA system for hire (check out the classifieds for more info). It's largely been a hobby up to now but as the system is virtually complete with only a few bits and bobs left to purchase I thought I'd try and make a go of making a living out of it! It'll be nice to float around and keep informed with the goings on around here too! Nice to meet you!  Daniel | ||
